The young "seer," as they are being called by awed survivors, first received a warning vision while helping set up for an annual school event. They saw twisted creatures—part wolf, part nightmare—crashing into the festivities and causing widespread chaos. The vision turned reality when, on the day of the event, an attack from what can only be described as monstrous wolves actually occurred, causing the school to be closed indefinitely.
While authorities initially dismissed the student’s vision as an overactive imagination, their predictions soon proved chillingly accurate. More visions came, each foreshadowing strange attacks by creatures that seemed to defy the laws of nature, hailing from what the student now calls an “alternate dimension.” These attacks reportedly included not only the wolf-like beasts but also creatures described by survivors as “giant crabs” and “a very aggressive chicken.”
Eventually, the government became involved, recruiting two others who also claimed to have “visions.” One, a military general, brought tactical expertise, while the other, a psychologist, provided a deeper understanding of trauma (and, presumably, a daily dose of existential dread). Together, this strange trio spearheaded an organized resistance against the creatures, even claiming a period of peace after repelling the attacks.
But peace was short-lived. During a celebration of their successes, the three visionaries saw yet another prophecy—this time mere seconds ahead—of a new assault on the city. An apocalyptic scene unfolded as monsters and chaos rained down, and survivors found themselves transported to what can only be described as the "dimension of nightmares."
In their new hellish surroundings, the survivors encountered a “god-like” being, which explained that it had been sending the visions as a means to open pathways for creatures to cross into our world. The creature offered them a choice: surrender and remain trapped in its dimension, or refuse and watch Earth face total annihilation within a year.
Though the survivors reluctantly agreed to stay, the visionary trio noticed something crucial—the being was wounded, hinting that their resistance had left a mark. Emboldened by this discovery, they retreated to a derelict spaceship nearby, planning their next move.
Settled in the rusting spaceship, the survivors stumbled upon materials necessary to construct a nuclear device (who knew?), sparking what one insider called a "DIY nuke project." Meanwhile, the god-like entity, suspecting rebellion, dispatched a shapeshifting general disguised as a child to infiltrate the group. This general, capable of altering memories, sought to sow doubt among the survivors.
The visionary trio quickly suspected the truth, rallying the survivors to conceal their nuclear materials while attempting to eliminate the general. A climactic showdown ensued, with the general making a desperate bid for escape. As it scaled the spaceship’s ladder to reach the rooftop, one of the seers heroically forced a piece of radioactive material into the general's skull, ending its twisted infiltration attempt.
“It was a close call,” one survivor said. “You don’t expect ‘nuke a shape-shifting general in a spaceship’ to be your Thursday night.”
With the threat temporarily at bay, survivors are now scavenging materials from defeated monsters, which they claim are composed of a nearly indestructible substance. These materials have been repurposed into weapons and armor, with the survivors becoming increasingly adept at defending themselves in this hostile dimension.
The visionary trio remains determined, despite the odds stacked against them. Rumors suggest that more plans are underway, and while the entity’s forces appear to be regrouping, the survivors’ resolve has only deepened.
